2) Seattle Grand Jury Resisters Placed In Solitary Confinement At Federal Prison

A federal grand jury has been investigating Anarchists and other activists in Oregon and Washington. Three people have been jailed for refusing to cooperate with federal investigators, claiming it is a political witch hunt. Two of the activists who refused to testify have now been placed in solitary confinement at a federal prison at Seatac, Washington. The National Lawyers Guild says the grand jury has violated people's First Amendment rights to freedom of speech and assembly. Al Jazera has called the activists "America's Pussy Riot"
